My work is primarily focused on connecting our clients to immunization registries and syndromic surveillance registries, which vary by state and location of the client. I work directly with the registries, other teams at athenahealth, and lead and support teams building the integrations to ensure they are built as efficiently and effectively as possible to increase patient safety, improve public health surveillance, and help clients meet quality payment objectives. I also work on process improvement, delegation of work, and improving communication and working relationships with other teams at athena. Show less We build global public health reporting interfaces between our clients and public health agencies to reduce manual work for our clients and to satisfy government programs. We not only build connections, but also build relationships with these agencies to streamline processes, reduce implementation time, and act as strong advocates for our clients.
