    For the last 3+ years, we at The Sherpas work with family run companies to achieve their full potential by being an enabler and business consultant for Entrepreneurs and Promoters. It involves addressing their business critical issues. I am serving as Independent Director on the boards of a outdoor media company, a truck and bus radial tyre company, a retail company focused on serving farmers and a fertiliser company. I have about 33 years of experience out of which 6 years as a business leader (CEO), 9 years as Head of HR and Corporate affairs in different organizations. When I was CEO at OCL and DCEL grew 2.5X in volume and 3X in net profits and was awarded fastest growing mid size cement company for 3 years in a row . As Group Head of HR , I set up HR vertical from scratch at Dalmia Bharat group and with in 2 years the company featured in the list of Employer of Choice survey of Hewitt. I have partnered with 3rd generation entrepreneur to grow business 20X in 11 years.

      In these 5 years of leading OCL Cement , business has seen vol growth from 3.16 Mn T in FY 12 to 7.1 Mn T in FY17, market share grew from 8.5% to 13.7%, EBIDTA from 238 Cr to 664 Cr and PAT from 32 Cr to 283 Cr. This was a result of creating an inspiring vision, attracting best people to work at the CxO level, focusing on execution excellence, getting into the trenches to manage exceptions. Capacity was expanded by adding a green field plant and acquisition of another company. OCL was adjudged fasted growing cement company for 3 years in a row during this period.
