      Loch Ryan Shellfish Water Improvement Scheme (2007 - 2010), Scottish Water - Civil Engineer involved in various aspects of this £27 million scheme for Scottish Water. The scheme will provide the improvement of the quality of the water of the Loch in accordance with the European Directive for Shellfish Waters . Involved in the design of the new Pumping Station located at Port Rodie which will provide the delivery of 300 l/s to the new propose plant. Involved in the design of the preliminary treatment for the new works. Involved in the design of longsections for approx 27km of pipelines and raising mains.Khalifa Port Abu Dhabi (2009) - Civil Engineer involved in the drainage design of the off-shore are of this $2.6 billion project. The design included numerous sustainable urban drainage elements. Drainage design schemes - Responsible for the design drainage systems for several new developments for Darlington borough Council. The drainage systems included Sustainable Urban Drainage Elements (SUDS) including ponds, infiltration systems, oversized pipes, and soakaways. Show less

      Project Delivery Manager for the detailed design of these five design & build schemes for different contractors with the Land Transport Authority (LTA) as ultimate client with a design value circa $70M and a team circa 150No staff on a daily basis. The North South Corridor will be Singapore’s first integrated transport corridor featuring continuous bus lanes and cycling trunk routes. Part of the leadership team of a multidisciplinary design team located at multiple offices including Singapore, India and European offices, with peak staff numbers in excess of 160 over a 36 months design period. Show less Royal Botanic Gardens Kew Capital Development Programme: Senior project manager reporting to the Kew Estates and Capital Development Director responsible for the delivery of several projects including the Palm House, Tropical Nursery, Arboretum Nursery. The aim of the Kew Capital Development Programme was to refurbish and repair some of the key infrastructure of this UNESCO World Heritage site. Projects within the programme included infrastructure, major refurbishment and transformational projects. We were secured as the multi – disciplinary consultant to provide a range of professional services in a partnership type arrangement, to establish, define and deliver their programme within a core team of circa 25 people delivering the projects. Show less Crossrail Contract C121 - Sprayed Concrete Lining (SCL) Project Controls Manager leading a team of five providing project controls and project management support to a design team involving circa 40 contributing members of staff on a daily basis on the £21 million construction supervision and design support contract for £700 million Sprayed Concrete Lining (SCL) structures to be constructed along the underground sections of the Crossrail project including shafts, cross passages and station tunnels.Responsible for the commercial management of the contract, including managing the NEC PSC Option E contract, clearing the withheld fees log, scope control and change control, risk management, resource management, client liaison and financial reporting. Show less Pulloxhill Water Treatment Works @onealliance for Anglian Water - Delivery Manager responsible for the development of this urgent drought project worth £8.7 to bring new water sources into supply in the event of a third dry winter. This will be a new 6MLD works including borehole headworks, single stage Granulated Activated Carbon (GAC) absorbers, disinfection contact main and all associated works infrastructure. This project is an AM6 path finder where the team is looking for new and more efficient ways to deliver best value for money and try to reduce cost and programme, as well as environmental benefits by reducing carbon footprint. This includes the use of BIM, early supply engagement and off site manufacturing amongst other innovations. Show less Grafham Water Treatment Works @onealliance for Anglian Water(2012 – 2014) – Technical Delivery manager responsible for leading the technical delivery of this multidisciplinary programme of works, circa £16 million, consisting of eleven general maintenance schemes to upgrade one of the biggest Anglian Water treatment plant serving an estimated population of three million.Works include a new chlorination system, ferric tanks, ASG filters refurbishment, new backwash system, new covers for clarifiers and filers, new turbidly systems and new water quality shutdown system.Responsible for driving H&S and ensure that H&S risks are minimised ensuring compliance with CDM regulations, including liaison with the HSE for the new chlorination system.Responsibilities also included management of key stakeholders, in particular providing liaison with the client and construction representatives, Show less Lead design engineer for this circa £30 million project. The project included the upgrade of the effluent and sludge streams at Deephams STW to provide additional treatment capacity to allow compliance with the AMP5 quality consent to the 2016 design horizon. The project included new chemical storage and dosing systems, primary settlement tanks sludge and scum removal system upgrade, Tertiary treatment plant pumping station, new tertiary treatment plant including new screens and disc filters. Sludge buffer tank mixing and cleaning sludge thickening plant upgrade sludge dewatering plant upgrade washwater. The scheme also includes the improvement of the existing inlet works, refurbishment of existing pumping station and enhancement of the existing hydraulic capacity of the existing works.Barrow Hill Reservoir (2011) Thames Water - Design coordinator for this project which include a new 25Ml (Operational Storage Capacity) twin cell service reservoir with an internal valve chamber on the site of the existing service reservoir at Barrow Hill. Haslemere STW Dewatering Plant (2011) Thames Water - Responsible for the civil engineering design of this dewatering project. The new dewatering plant included the provision of raw sludge belt dewatering plant to treat all sludge flows. Provide sludge cake storage and rovision of an automatic slewing conveyor bin filling system.Lower Hall PS Flood Protection Scheme (2010) - Thames Water - Civil Engineer responsible for the civil engineering aspects of this flood protection scheme at Lower Hall PS. The scheme included the protection of the main electrical assets in the plant, including electrical substations, MCC Buildings, Pumping Stations and Pump House. Show less
