  As a DBA Project Lead handled the below list of activities during the various stages of application support. Involved in full function to HALDB migration for critical databases in multiple environments.Introduced a new full function DBs in multiple IMS environments.Supporting the automation of Test Environment / Data Management in progress for both IMS & DB2 new environment build.Supporting the IBM OPTIM team by creating the necessary Interface tables to extract the data from mainframe and mask the PII information. Created 2 model environments in IMS & DB2 like production for Business report generation and analysisInitially verification of DBA utility jobs and accessibility of Databases after CA R20 migration, IMS V13 to V14 migration and DB2 V11 NFM to V12 Decommission BMC compression routine. Implemented customized IBM compression routine.Decommissioned BMC utility. Modified all the DBA utility jobs to use CA.Communicating with System DBA in turn with CA for providing solution in improving the home block utilization of the DB dataset.CA prepare a patch for the solution and it has been included as part next version release.Addressed potential space issues in advance by generating Space reports, VSAM extent reports, Storage Group space reports, Restrictive status reports etc. DBA incidents raised via Service now will be resolved with in SLA timeline.   Actuarial Sybase IQ / 4003 migration to Snowflake include the conversion of sybase scripts like User Queries , views into Snowflake compatible Scripts, create pipelines to data load using talend framework which includes Data stage to load source files into staging area and then from staging to actual tables in Actuary Analysis dataset in Snowflake. Autosys is used to streamline the loading of data by scheduling jobs.Responsibilities: Consolidate the Queries within the team and communicate with Business SME to get relevant answers.Communicate with various users and collect the scripts they execute in Sybase and modify those scripts to adhere snowflake syntax for execution.Help the users to configure the connectivity to snowflake from excel, Ms-Access and python.Split all the tables from Sybase into snowflake as PII or Non PII tables. Create PII and Non PII Roles and add the tables to the appropriate roles. Create functional roles and add the PII or Non PII roles based on the user access to tables. With the help of Snowflake DBA create user and add to necessary functional roles.Involved in creating autosys jobs for Weekly manual cycle.Modify downstream Sybase views compatible to snowflake.
