Deployed for 18 months during Operation Iraqi Freedom 06-08.Major accomplishments in this position were successful transition from Alpha model Apache to Delta model; working in a different Military Occupation Specialty (MOS) and outperforming peers; deploying and returning with all all personnel. Responsible for over 1 million dollars worth of supplies, tools and test equipment.Major accomplishment in this position was the deployment of 34 personnel and platoon assets. This and previous successes solidified the Brigade Command Sergeant Major to select me for a company First Sergeant position.

  Senior enlisted Soldier in the company and advisor to the Commander. Responsible for the health, welfare, morale and training of 36 Soldiers, Officers and Airmen. Deployed to two locations in Iraq during the OIF 2009-2010 deployment. Major accomplishments in this position were: No loss or serious injury of any personnel; successful move of entire company (personnel, equipment, vehicles) from one Forward Operational Base (FOB) to another located 160 miles apart; designed and constructed a major (full sized) obstacle course for training and competition.   My responsibilities included assisting the Task Force (a Brigade element) Operations Officer with planning future training operations, ensuring accurate tracking of aviation missions and air requests in support of ground forces and environmental needs (forest fires). Simultaneously working as the Task Force Head Quarters Company First Sergeant (Senior Advisor), I was responsible for the health, welfare, training, safety and professional development of the 44 member staff.Major Accomplishments in this position: Cross training employees to ensure they had the technical expertise and knowledge of various positions and responsibilities.
