      ACSC exposed me to history of warfare and how we developed airpower theories in the US. It was a great experience that allowed me to gain insight into how and why countries wage war and has direct application in the world in which we live now.

      I spent my time at AFIT learning about solid state semiconductor technology all the way from theory to design and fabrication. My thesis was on building a 250ps access time random access memory using 100 nm material structures built on Gallium Arsenide (GaAs). I also learned how to design Very Large Scale Integrated Circuits in a variety of technologies. A truly great experience.

      Manager of $50M EHF spacecraft phased array and special purpose antenna design activities as well as high performance EHF solid state amplifier designs supporting military satellite communications design activities. Managed work activities of 165 engineers and scientists over 11 separate research and development initiatives. Performed independent research and development in conjunction with Hughes Research Laboratory (Malibu) to incorporate micro-electromechanical systems (MEMs) device technology into advanced microwave antenna designs.
