  The Penrith Lakes Development Corporation (PLDC) has been part of the local Penrith community since 1980 when existing quarries merged to form the Corporation and co-ordinate the orderly extraction of sand and gravel from the 1935 hectare site located on the floodplain of the Nepean River.Key roles & responsibilities:• Provide landform designs that are “fit for purpose” and satisfy key requirements such as quality, cost effectiveness and the use of available material.• Provide conceptual and detailed design work, including Two Year plan and detailed design surfaces, drainage schemes, wave protection selection, surface treatments and hydraulic calculations.• Maintain and record all site surface data and to provide volume calculations when required.• Support the process for certification and handover of landforms and associated civil infrastructure to the Government.• Review work as executed documentation and ensure as built landforms comply with approved designs.• Work closely with Drafters to ensure all design requirements are accurately conveyed on Landform Construction Plans.• Provide Leadership to the drafting team.
