I sent Victim Impact Statements to the victim and helped them seek any compensation that may have been due to them from the incident. I listened to their stories and answered any questions they may have had, regarding what was happening with their court case.

I engage and connect legislators at the federal and state level with our various different task forces, as well as, our different committees and councils. I am responsible for reviewing draft legislation and language for upcoming ballot initiatives. I am responsible for planning, developing and implementing the grassroots advocacy involvement of the Association’s membership. I assist with member engagement and recruitment efforts through grassroots organization. I review specific legislative issues to better understand what SBAM’s position would be on those issues and effectively communicate that information to a variety of audiences. I am connected with many different associations that collaborate with SBAM. I help the association plan and organize meetings and events. I send out legislative updates to our members weekly and produce a YouTube video distributed every Friday that lays out what is happening on both the federal and state level that could potentially impact small business.
