Skilled in handling high value acquisitions, negotiations, project planning & optimising complex supply chains. Adept in people operations and transformational leadership. Paraphrasing my professional pursuits - “My interests are in formulating strategy, generating innovative options, creating new organisations & support teams, and executing goal oriented plans; besides working on new opportunities. Consolidating existing assets, turning around challenging situations and charting new normals have been a constant factor of my professional career. Providing leadership when the chips are down comes naturally. I understand that managing change is a constant reality for growth. In an inter-dependent world this increasingly depends on the ability to manage perceptions, diversity and cross cultural outlooks, while keeping the focus on goals. My strategy for walking the talk has been an open minded approach, working for solutions, doggedness based on integrity and effective communications for managing situational or relationship dynamics. A life lesson I carry from my flying days is that attitude determines the altitude. It’s an exciting time to be working in the front-lines of the high growth Aerospace & Defence Sector of Indian Industry. The areas of responsibility I have worked in have been Business Development, Global Sales, New Products, Bids & Proposals, Cost & Contract Negotiations, Strategic Partnerships, Technology Management, Government Policy, Corporate Relations and Advocacy. I discovered quite early in my initial career that technology can be a disruptive enabler to hasten the achievement of organisational missions. My belief in technology was reinforced during my corporate experiences on realising the universality of the principle that ‘innovation & technological disruption can create great opportunities’. I also realise it is important to keep reminding ourselves on the need to continuously strive for a more sustainable global future. This is our environmental responsibility, and we also owe this to our future generations”.
