      The project involves a Fluid Structure Interaction analysis using Coupled Eulerian Lagrangian method for High Velocity Impact of a Boat Hull on surface of water. The goal of analysis is to find the contact forces, and stresses acting on hull surface during impact on sea surface. The analysis was conducted with use of HYPERMESH 8.0, ABAQUS 6.8.1. The problem was solved on a High Performance Computing (Parallel Processing) Environment for faster solution, which is an emerging trend in FEA solution methodology. Participation in Work-Shop of High Performance Computing application in FEA:Participated and worked in a Workshop - POC conducted by L&T eEngineerig Solutions, Microsoft India and Locuz Enterprise, Bangalore on Setting up a Cluster Computing environment and checking performance of FEA softwares ABAQUS, ANSYS, FLUENT on Windows Compute Cluster Server (WCCS 2003) and Red Hat Linux Enterprise 4.0.
