  Worked with Real Nation Marketing for the past 2 years as a Brand Ambassador. In my role as Brand Ambassador, I have worked for major brands such as Heineken, Diageo, Tesco and Arnotts. I am a representative of these brands and visit accounts nationwide to advertise and promote new or existing products to a range of demographics. Key Skills I have obtained from my time with Real Nation include:The ability to work as part of a team on multiple marketing activations such as Heineken drink promotions and food promotions with many different brand ambassadors from a range of age demographics depending on the nature of the activation.Acting as team-lead on multiple activations such as Arnotts Event activations allocating roles to 10 Brand Ambassadors and ensuring the event runs smoothly and activation goal is achieved. Dealing with the public in an appropriate way and remaining calm and professional if placed in a difficult situation or dealing with a difficult member of the public during a brand activation. Also, if promoting an alcoholic drink ensuring that the recipient of the sample is over the legal age of 18. How to report back in-depth to the client about the response from the public about their product in detail providing key statistics reflecting the activation eg. age demographic present, response and any trouble during the activation.   Farm Hand

  As part of my professional work experience in University College Dublin, I undertook 16 weeks of on farm placement. My first placement was on William Hutchinson's prestigious pedigree sheep farm where I participated in lambing 2019. I was on hand for various tasks including veterinary, maintenance and record management. William's farm details can be found at pedigreesheep.ieMy next placement was beef and dairy. The farm I was on was Farrel ltd, Thomastown. I have a deep rooted passion for the dairy industry in Ireland and really enjoyed my time here. I assisted in some calving, daily milking and maintenance on farm.My final placement was on Sunglen Farm ltd. This pig farm is run by the major animal feed company Brett's and I learned an extensive amount about animal nutrition as well as the practical aspect of daily work at the piggery. Show less
