      Guest researcher on the BIOACID KOSMOS 2014 project on Gran Canaria, Spain, using pelagic mesocosms to assess the impacts of ocean acidification with nutrient additions. Part of an multinational, interdisciplinary team maintaining, manipulating and sampling the mesocosms on site. Personally responsible for measuring macronutrient and heme b protein concentrations using Quuatro autoanalyser and HPLC respectively. Also trained in the analysis of nanomolar nutrients.

Investigating the extreme thermotolerance of Red Sea scleractinian corals with a focus on Stylophora pistillata in the Gulf of Aqaba.
