  Project Officer Assistant, Freedom of Expression and the Safety of Journalists

  I mainly worked on projects concerning the safety of journalists and the issue of impunity for crimes against them. For example, I worked on a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) for judges and judicial actors in Africa (which has also been translated in French), and other advocacy projects on the work of the African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights.

  At the daily Dutch public radio show 'Foreign Desk', with a focus on french speaking countries, particularly in Africa. Research for Trees, an investigative podcast and an innovative app that allowed us to interact with listeners. I was doing the research for topics varying from privacy, contraception, hard drugs and medical care.   Dr. Bones is een driedelige podcastserie over een serieleugenaar, een Nederlandse man die leugen op leugen stapelt: van internationaal bekroond tennisser tot luitenant-kolonel. Uiteindelijk geeft hij zichzelf de titel forensisch patholoog, een beschermd beroep waar je meer dan tien jaar voor moet studeren. Hij stelt zich aan mensen voor als dr. Bones, zijn zelfverzonnen bijnaam. Op zijn visitekaartje staat: ‘I open corpses to close cases’. Dr. Bones wordt wereldwijd ingevlogen door een groot Amerikaans bedrijf om te helpen na grote vliegtuigrampen. Ook geeft hij les op de Politieacademie.
