  My job focused on working on coastal numerical models and participating in coastal surveys in the state of Gujarat and Maharashtra. • Generated 15 year (2011-15) hindcast wave data for the Bay of Bengal using WAVEWATCH III numerical model• Assessed the seasonal variation of wave energy potential for the Bay of Bengal from 2011-2015• Performed several coastal surveys using Total Station and Echo Sounder in the state of Gujarat, India• Performed river surveys using Recording Current Meter, Drifters and Floaters to calculate the velocity and discharge of rivers Purna and Auranga in the state of Gujarat, India• Worked on several other numerical models like Delft3D• Learnt working on numerical models in the Linux HPC environment Show less
