      Reporting directly to the Mine Manager, my primary responsibility was to manage and supervise the short-term and long-term planning teams and committed to meeting the ambitious budgets based on safety.In the Short Term process (annual and monthly plans) is included proposes and recommendations for the mining areas in the different mining methods such as : Drift&Fill, UpHole&Fill, Optimized Bench&Fill and Bench&Fill, reporting quantities/qualities of ore to mine (up to 2.5 Mt/year for Cu ore and up to 1.1 Mt/year for Zn ore), capital development (horizontal up to 10 Km/year and vertical up to 5 Km/year), volumes to fill (up to 1,000,000 m3/year), dilution volumes, as well the plan execution follow-up.Responsible for the Mineral Reserves calculations (Cu and Zn) and associated report, with an annual average sustained increase in tonnage of 13% (Cu) and 2% (Zn), and an annual average increase in the contained metal of 7% (Cu) and 3% (Zn). Responsible for the Life of Mine plan elaboration.Co-responsible for the study, analysis and design, testing and implementation of a new mining method - Up Hole and Fill taking in account reserves, strategic planning, geotechnical stability, productivity, operational costs, investment, human resources and logistics.Responsible for the coordination and integration of the Zinc Expansion Project (ZEP) with the present mine plan, from 1.1 Mt/year up to 2,5 Mt/year. To manage the mine planning, ventilation and survey teams (up to 35 own people), using modern leadership methods (through staff involvement in both decision-making and target-setting, clarity in communication and facilitate interpersonal relations). Responsible for an annual department budget up to 1 M€ and accountable for the Mine department budget up to 25 M€.To Promote the users training in how to use and operate software applications such as Vulcan and Studio 5D Planner. To share the company’s strategy, mission and successes across the Mine department.
