  I taught biomechanics labs where I assisted students in learning how to apply mechanical principles for analyzing human motion through quantitative analysis, including 3D motion capture, EMG and kinematic/kinetic analyses. I lifeguarded at the kinesiology pool on campus where I also oversaw the pool deck during special events and water polo games as well as at the student recreation and wellness center where I additionally conducted swim assessments, taught swim lessons, instructed lifeguard/cpr/first aid classes, and was responsible for evaluating lifeguard skills through individual training sessions each month. I assisted in an exercise physiology lab at Cal State Long Beach under the supervision of a graduate assistant where I worked with various exercise testing machines and physiological devices such as the Exercise-ECG, Spirometer and Hydrostatic Weighing Machine, while assisting the students with laboratory reports and calculations to further their learning.
