Activities and Societies: I made some courses, with good results: Tissue Culture and Germplasm Conservation; Protein Engineering and Plant-Microorganism Interactions. My thesis deal with walnut micropropgation and genetic characterization by mean of SSR markers The thesis dealed with the development of a functional micropropagation protocol for walnut hybrids for wood production. Some important topics were analized as the introduction of Phloroglucinol on proliferation culture media and the substitution of FeEDTA by FeEDDHA, among the most importants. As a result, the capacity to clone several genotypes by micropropagation have allowed to produce almost 10 000 vitroplants in the period from 2010 to 2015, which were used for the establisment of new… Show more The thesis dealed with the development of a functional micropropagation protocol for walnut hybrids for wood production. As a result, the capacity to clone several genotypes by micropropagation have allowed to produce almost 10 000 vitroplants in the period from 2010 to 2015, which were used for the establisment of new commercial plantations and some genetical trials. At the same time, new SSR markers were designed, developed and presented for walnut hybrid which could also be used with other members of Juglandaceae family. Show less
