      Agrovirtus Digital Agriculture Contest Semi-finalist Agrovirtus Nov 2019 The competition's first-round lasted a month during which 102 teams, from 22 different nationalities and 10 universities, simulated a year farming production by implementing management actions on an online platform, AgroVIR. Farm management tasks were completed for points dependent on the machines, input products and time chosen. The tasks included decision-making regarding crop production (wheat, corn, peas and sunflower), mechanization, irrigation, harvesting and pest control management.
