Review RFI and consultant’s comments.  Perform load calculation, voltage drop calculation cable sizing and breaker sizing as per Kahramaa regulation 2016 and QCS 2014 and match is with the short circuit characteristic of the cable. Design & prepare SLD (Single Line Diagram) for Main Distribution, Sub-main distribution and LV panel in accordance with IEC 61439 standards.  Review material submittals, shop drawings, equipment data, material samples or manufacturers for compliance with project specification and requirements.  Perform lux calculation via Dialux in order to check the required lux is matching with project requirements. Perform generator sizing calculation using Power Suite for Cummins Generator in order size the generator as per project specification and requirement.  Perform UPS sizing calculation and battery calculation based on IEC 62040 & 61000 standards.  Perform Cable tray and cable trunk sizing calculation as per the project specification.  Perform risk assessment for earthing and lightning protection system and design level of lightning protection required as per the IEC 62305 standards.  Prepare shop drawings based on the issued for construction drawings aligning with project specification and coordinating with system requirements.  Design & prepare third party system drawings such as fire alarm, central battery system, public address system and telecommunication and data system drawings as per the system specialist. Overall knowledge in substation control system technologies and protocols.
