      Senior Clinical Analyst

      This position involves programming development/support for the regions clinical departments using VB.NET, SQL, Meditech Magic, and Summit Healthcare Scripting Tools. I meet with lead physicians, nurses, radiologists, pharmacists, emergency staff, admissions and laboratory staff to plan and create regional solutions relating to ordered procedures, patient list management, quality control reports, system data flow, develop specialized activity reports to assist in patient care, automated scripts to enhance system usability, and other troubleshooting to enhance the overall patient care system. I have developed numerous dictionaries relating to system functionality and have done detailed testing to assure system quality of enhancements on our TEST system before taking it to LIVE. Also I have built guides and error catching reports to assist module leads in going to the next service release of the Meditech system. The main focus of my position at Montrose Memorial Hospital is to help the client to develop and get the most out of their clinical systems with main focus on Meditech CS and associated applications such as Iatric Tools. I meet biweekly with the clinical director’s counsel to keep up to date on the operations of the site and to present updates on current projects and new possible solutions. I also meet with our FCG off site team to receive updates on what they are doing and any onsite assistance they may need regarding user tasks and present new technical solutions the offsite helpdesk can handle. I worked with the site to update our system from Meditech CS 5.4 to 5.53 along with bringing up PCM shortly after followed by BMV.       System Manager of the Technical and User Provisioning team supporting the Meditech EHR. I manage the 2 application teams supporting 21 production and 25 legacy EHR systems. My role includes work with alignment efforts in the merging organizational structures, and strategizing new and improved processes. This also includes planning and resourcing numerous work efforts from daily maintenance to enterprise levels migrations and updates.
