      Armed Security Guard (Guardian Angel) Kabul Afghanistan Provides armed security manning at designated internal and external control points and internal and external Flight line, ECPs/roving patrols to detect, identify, report, and guard against unauthorized personnel and contraband, as well as, instruments of damage and destruction in order to prevent threats from entering the installation. Serves as the conduit for communication between client and provider regarding incident management services providing physical and personnel security, administering office and/or security needs, including oversight of personnel, information, facilities, and security awareness disciplines. Under the supervision of the Program Manger working with Homeland Security Federal Protective Service Protective Security Officers providing physical and personal security, making sound decisions, take independent action, analyze problems, provide focused solutions, and communicate information effectively to various audiences, in both verbally and written communication while performing duties in support of a 24 hour, 7 days per week operation, through scheduled shifts overseas in Afghanistan. Operating all security equipment on post, such as batons, OC Spray, X-ray machines, magnetometers, closed circuit television (CCTV), handcuffs, and (where required by post assignment) firearm at any time while on duty. Primarily functioning as a facility access control specialist and armed protective officer and as Commander's executor of physical inventory and asset management. Primary experiences in physical security through visitor processing through Passage Point and C-Cure systems and by managing the storage, use, distribution, procurement, transport and maintenance of assets.
