      2003 - 2007
Telecommunication Engineer Electronic Systems Selected Subjects: Analogue Electronics, Electronic Control Systems, Solid

Final Year Project: Development of a MVB communication board. This board was designed according to the rule IEC-61375-1. The project not only covered the PCB design, but also the development and test of a digital communication module targeting Spartan FPGA from Xilinx.

      Design Engineer

My Final Year project took place during this period. It was my first assignment in this company. Started training a team in Italy for Alston. There were some problems with in MVB communication module. The FPGA firmware was debugged, fixed and integrated in Altera FPGA using tools from the vendor. Electronic design of mix (digital, communication and analogue) electronic boards. VHDL design integrates in a 3AN Xilinx FPGA. The design and test was made by Ise and Modelsim. A design control several signals and it has a Moore state diagram. The cooling loop is designed according to several parameters: internal and external temperatures, compressors workload, heaters, time on-off, etc. This design was verified by a simulator and in a real situation. To verify all electronics, we put the train air conditioner into a thermal camera to change the temperature and see the correct use of the state diagram. Electronic design of an isolate input/output board according to the rule IE-50155.- Designed and implemented Railway On-board Systems according to CENEC standards, enhancing system compliance and client satisfaction. - Completed final year project, applying academic knowledge to design the hardware for a Multifunction Vehicle Bus (MVB) communication board.
