  My experience in the Deloitte Leadership Allyship and Mentorship program, which began in March 2024 and will conclude in October 2024, is something that I am very excited to be a part of. Throughout the program, I will engage in comprehensive training focused on allyship, mentorship, and leadership development, with a strong emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I).The program's practical approach will allow me to learn from seasoned Deloitte practitioners through 10 or so touchpoints, covering various topics from career coaching to mock interviews. I am sure that those interactions will be instrumental in refining my consulting skills and preparing me for the challenges of the professional world.As a member of the campus cohort, I will participate in community-building events and skill development workshops hosted at the campus level. These experiences will not only facilitate meaningful connections with peers but will also equip me with the tools to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.I am grateful the opportunity to be a member of DLAMP, and for the lessons I will learn and relationships I will forge.   During my internship with HOWSE NWA, I’ve been deeply involved in various facets of supply chain and logistics management. A significant portion of my role has been focused on transportation management, where I've coordinated the efficient movement of goods from suppliers to customers. This has involved scheduling shipments, optimizing routes, and liaising with transportation providers to ensure timely deliveries.In addition to transportation management, I've worked extensively with e-commerce logistics. This includes overseeing the fulfillment process for online orders, ensuring that inventory levels are accurately tracked, and managing the seamless integration between the online store and our warehouse operations. My role also involves tracking and tendering loads, which requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure that all shipments are accurately documented and efficiently dispatched.Customer service has been another key area of my internship. I've handled inquiries related to order status, resolved issues with shipments, and provided support to enhance overall customer satisfaction. This aspect of my role has allowed me to develop strong communication skills and a keen understanding of customer needs, further contributing to the smooth operation of HOWSE’s supply chain.
