Leadership responsibilities for Navman Australia and close involvement with entities in China , Hong Kong and Singapore. Co-ordinated with potential local and overseas buyers - supplying all information requested. Ensured robust budgets and forecast whilst reviewing historical data to understand and sell the businesses success story and great future. Change management for the business its staff and once sold for the new owners has been a critical part of my role and the success of the project depended on it. I have learnt an enormous amount and worked some crazy hours and had the highs and lows of a sale process of a successful small Kiwi company to a giant US corporation. Have spent too many hours with lawyers (even though they were an excellent team) and have made some wonderful new friends in the process. Show less

Designing in-vehicle hardware, operating secure payment and merchant gateways and offer web-based value-added services. They are the largest provider of road user charges compliance in New Zealand, and a leading provider of health and safety compliance and fleet management solutions in New Zealand, Australia and the United States of America. Listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange with a FY20 turnover of $81M an increase of 32% over the two years that I was with EROAD and a FY20 profit before tax of $1.4M compared with a $5.1M loss in FY18.
