      Open Source Developer

I have had the opportunity to contribute to the open-source community using the RUST programming language. The central focus of my internship has been on Typst, a cutting-edge markup language. I have dedicated time to studying both the basics and advanced concepts of Typst markup, with the ultimate goal of making meaningful open-source contributions to this language. Additionally, I have gained hands-on experience in building front-end user interfaces for a Typst application using Android Studio and JetPack Compose. To ensure a seamless design process, I have utilized Figma to create detailed front-end mockups for the application. Through this internship, I have strengthened my programming skills, expanded my knowledge of markup languages, and honed my ability to develop intuitive and visually appealing UIs.Applying all these concepts, our team aimed to develop a GUI toolkit for Material3 design inside Typst, an up and coming markup alternative to Latex. This involved developing and coding multiple components of Material3 to visualise them in Typst, taking a modularised and functional approach. Show less
