  Water Resources Planner

  I contributed to the Drought Plan and the PR14 Water Resources Management Plan, with a specific focus on environmental economics, outage and headroom calculation, options optimisation, report writing, and company compliance data collection. I used EA and UKWIR guidance to calculate the environmental, social, and carbon costs of schemes that have been conceptualised to close a water supply/demand gap forecasted for the future.Using the Crystal Ball stochastic model, I identified the existing infrastructure which poses the highest risk and impact on our WAFU due to outage events from bacterial contamination to power outages.I managed an optimisation model which selects the least-cost and least-impacting infrastructural schemes that have been conceptualised to provide additional water to our water resource zones. This is in order to meet a supply deficit forecasted over the next 25 years. I wrote technical sections of the Water Resources Management Plan, Drought Plan, and supplementary technical submissions which are directed at and sent to our regulators and stakeholders. I compiled data on from across the organisation and populate Excel spreadsheets which feed into our company compliance certificates for GHG emissions, June return data submission, economic level of leakage, and our water efficiency strategy.
