  Develop / supervise /coordinate basic and detailed engineering and define equipment required to fulfill the project systems in accordance with the design criteria. Conduct and organize, if required ,rig inspection to define project scope to meet project objectives. Develop equipment specifications, shipyard scope of work, cost estimates and schedule input for assigned scope activities. Assist project manager to prepare AFE and PECP. Interface and coordinate project with others project discipline engineer. Attend / organize design review. Prepare tender and issue RFQ to vendors to procure new equipment. Make recommendations and submit PO to management. Submit work progress report and concern periodically to project manager. Review and approve vendors and shipyard design, drawings, specifications and documentation. Inspect and follow up vendors contractual commitments, work progress and expediting. Follow up class or regulations issue on equipment. Follow up any outstanding or warranty issues with vendors. Track,coordinate and support technical queries with vendors and shipyard.
