Duties included data collection through phenological and demographic surveys, moisture meters, I-buttons, and GIS equipment.

  Followed USGS protocol to collect thousands of measurements on soil quality, canopy gap, and vegetation community composition in Utah for two consecutive field seasons. Assessed chlorophyll A content in over 1000 soil samples and updated multi-year database. Utilized data from household surveys to design and execute a project dealing with gendered climate disparities in community-based conservation areas of Southern Africa. Assisted with data cleaning, analysis, interpretation, and visualization using R-Studio. Maintained plants for various plant-butterfly interaction experiments. Duties included watering, fertilizing, repotting, and killing pests.
