  This position supports the Associate Dean for Research and Outreach’s work in managing the college’s internal research funding and research programs, supporting external awards, and creating research opportunities for Rawls faculty and students. Responsibilities include, producing a research newsletter, coordinating research guest speaker visits and research conferences, capturing and reporting accreditation metrics and faculty/PhD student publications, coordinating research advisory committee meetings, etc.Act as liaison for the college between TTU’s research enterprise (Innovation Hub, Office of Research and Innovation, Office of Research Commercialization, and International Affairs), the Associate Dean for Research and Outreach, Rawls faculty, and external partners to help faculty and PhD students identify potential research resources or collaborators.Support faculty and PhD students in writing impactful articles, based on academic research accomplishments such as major journal publications, patents, grants, etc, for major media platforms.Facilitate and manage Rawls college research resources, such as databases, journal lists, research grants, undergraduate research grant programs, etc.Assist faculty and PhD students in the grant application and post-award compliance process.
