  Technical and non-technical lead for the Automobile Insurance Application Domain. Guides, facilitates, and participates with teams in the delivery of desired technical solutions for complex business problems across many different systems, processes, and channels. Major Contributions:- Software/Solutions Architect/Technical Lead for countless multi-million dollar projects such as the Reengineered Automobile Insurance Acquisition App, USAA’s first Mobile Telematics Solution, the Premium Financial System, the Vehicle Risk Assessment System, amongst countless others- Software Engineer that evaluated, developed, and maintained hundreds of software programs with millions of lines of code- Designed and implemented a memory overlay detector that was responsible for identifying numerous memory overlays that once fixed reduced transaction abends by over 50% and positively impacted thousands of CICS transactions thus providing system stability for our members- Led seniors and leads in the identification of performance opportunities and solutions using new tech and design enhancements to obtain a 10 times reduction in software performance of a major system- Designed, developed, and implemented a project that strategically focused on the ability to perform canary releases within the mainframe environment for Auto Insurance and Claims Systems- Aided in the analysis, design, and development of a $300 million dollar system to replace a 30 year old legacy system for a main revenue generating product- Vendor evaluation of technology solutions and companies through site visits, phone calls, and technology pilots to determine company soundness as well as technology prowess in areas of functionality, usability, scalability, security, and extensibility - One of three key P&C resources that moved to Plano to help in the successful opening of USAA’s first satellite I/T office that now employs hundreds of people from the D/FW area Show less Participated in the evaluation, development, implementation, and maintenance of business solutions for both internal and external customers.
