  Hired to assist in the promotion and execution of the MEST Africa Summit, a three-day tech conference. Throughout my time at MEST I created and scheduled content across social media channels, wrote, designed, and sent out e-mail campaigns, and wrote blog posts. I was responsible for briefing suppliers, tracking invoices and overseeing event setup, as well as managing and working along-side event staff and volunteers.

  In my current role I am responsible for on-boarding and off-boarding participants, as well as supporting them throughout the program. I create and refine documents and processes in order to make the program effective, efficient, and enjoyable for participants and facilitators. Regularly liaising with the finance team I facilitate the distribution of microgrants, process vendor invoices, collect and organize demographics and other data for reporting, and take the lead on planning multi-day retreats for participants.
