  Academic Advisor at the Student Success Centre at Middle East College, Muscat, Oman. Provided academic advising, learning support and early interventions to students on weak academic standing. Based on student data analysis I played a key role in developing new academic regulations that positively impacted student performance. Provided inputs to the software development team to develop online system for SSC that generated reports useful for target-group student performance analysis and decision-making for enhancing SSC processes. Coordinated the peer-tutoring process in the College, provided workshops to staff and training to peer-tutors. Enhanced the peer-tutoring system based on research of good practices. Introduced the concept of Supplemental Instruction, in-class and out-of-class peer-tutoring. As a Peer-tutor Coordinator involved in scheduling tutorial sessions, registering and training peer-tutors, monitoring the tutorial sessions for providing feedback to tutors and faculty. Coordinated with academic departments and worked out interventions for providing better academic support to students.   Nearly two decades of teaching experience in Electronics and Communications engineering. As a faculty of the Electronics and Communications Engineering department actively involved in programme development, review and management. In the absence of HoD, managed and coordinated the academic and administrative activities of the Electronics and Communications engineering department. Active member of various academic and non-academic committees and Boards, organized and conducted various student events and activities, incorporated good practices in teaching and learning by completing the PGCert in Higher Education Professional Practice with Coventry University, UK, mentored new faculty joining MEC and faculty enrolled for Pg Cert. Conducted teaching and learning workshops for faculty.
