  As a Marketing Manager I look 3 to 5 years into the future, analyze and translate these findings into a new or adjusted strategy (including all elements of the Marketing Mix (Product, Price, People, Place, and Promotion) for Rabobank in the consumer mass market (retail). Rabo Development also disseminates knowledge through studies and seminars, helping improve in both the expertise and the administrative quality of financial organisations in emerging markets and developing countries.My responsibilities are:1. Educating visiting financial organization's representatives from emerging economies (e.g. Tanzania, Lithuania, Vietnam, Brazil, Paraguay) about Rabobank's retail banking strategies and policies.2. Providing consulting services for financial organizations in emerging economies (locally). My first assignment has been part of the Technical Assistance program for the Vietnamese state owned Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (VBARD) / Agribank. In terms of its balance sheet total, VBARD / Agribank is the largest bank in Vietnam and with 2,000 branche offices also has the most extensive distribution network in that country. Rabobank will support VBARD in the process of transformation into a sustainable Allfinanz bank.
