  Mechanical Engineering Co-op, Respiratory Protection 1/2020 – 4/2020- Designed and tested a prototype to help prevent product inaccuracy.- Evaluated and implemented a material change in a current product to allow exportation.- Made drawing revisions and documentation edits.- Learned how to prioritize multiple projects and how to apply engineering skills in an industry setting.Mechanical Engineering Co-op, Respiratory Protection 5/2019 – 8/2019 - Project manager for an investigation on the impact of washing SCBAs in an SCBA washing machine.- Evaluated those mechanical effects and started designing protective components for the SCBA.- Communicated with various suppliers and relayed that information to the plant in Mexico.- Learned how to organize and lead meetings, create a project schedule, and communicate with suppliers.Mechanical Engineering Co-op, Respiratory Protection 8/2018 – 12/2018- Designed a box for a heater for use in an environmental chamber.- Performed tests on the G1 Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and on various NPD projects.- Learned how to work on a multi-discipline project, the steps of the design process, and time management.
