  As a Medical Physicist and Radiological Safety Officer, my role involves ensuring the safe and effective operation of medical equipment used for diagnosis and treatment. I am responsible for implementing quality control measures, calculating radiation doses, and selecting appropriate equipment for radiation therapy. Furthermore, I provide expert advice and support to medical staff regarding radiation safety, ensuring that regulatory guidelines and standards are met. As an RSO, I develop and enforce radiation safety procedures, provide training to staff on safe practices, and monitor radiation exposure levels. I maintain detailed records of radiation usage, conduct radiation surveys, and oversee the proper storage, transportation, and disposal of radioactive waste. It is my responsibility to ensure that the workplace is compliant with current regulations and guidelines related to radiation safety. In case of a radiation incident or emergency, I coordinate the response and take appropriate actions to protect workers and the public. Additionally, I am responsible for maintaining and updating medical imaging and radiation therapy equipment and software.
