  Assisted Professor Orestis Schinas of HSBA (Hamburg School of Business Administration) in his research for the SKILLSEA project. It is a Pan-European research initiative funded by Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission, aiming to ensure that the region’s maritime professionals possess key digital, green, and soft management skills for the rapidly changing maritime labor market.   My freshman year of college, I decided to finally pursue my passion for boxing and joined the Carolina Boxing Club. While I had some prior boxing experience, I had never taken it seriously until then. Tryouts came for the UNC Boxing Varsity team, and I managed to earn my spot. Since then, I've dedicated myself to training and have achieved an undefeated amateur record. Currently, I'm focused on preparing for the national tournament next year, eager to test my skills on a larger stage.

  Working closely with UNC's Student Organizations, I solely founded the Greek Student Association at UNC-CH (GSA). I wrote the organization's constitution and Bylaws and managed the whole process of creating a new organization at UNC-CH, while constantly communicating with UNC's Student Organizations department to ensure that all requirements were met. I facilitated communications with the National Hellenic Student Association to secure GSA's recognition as its chapter, while also engaging with Athens College (my high-school in Greece), to promote GSA among prospective UNC students. Now, as GSA's president, my duties are to:• Direct the executive board and the organization as a whole.• Run and organize all executive board and general meetings.• Stay in close touch with the advisor and the NHSA for all types of reasons.• Be the official spokesperson of the organization.• Oversee communication.• Work close to all other major officers for matters concerning the organization.
