      Activities and Societies: • Member of the Manchester Universities Ice Hockey Club. I captained the first team when required and also helped with coaching other players. I played for the club for 4 seasons and was part of the inaugural Manchester Varsity Ice Hockey Game. • Participated in the prestigious UK Government funded Study China Program in 2009. I was selected for one of the 200 places on the course which takes UK students to China and aims to build ties between future professionals from the two countries. I completed my degree over 5 years as I deferred my final year in order to stay in China from 2010 to 2011 (original course length 4 years).
