  Reduction of water consumption in agriculture using a biodegradable hydrogel.-Produced a slow release fertilizer hydrogel (SRFH) from crop waste.-Results: Silica nanoparticle preparation, synthesis of sulfated compounds, SRF preparation, encapsulation of fertilizers in the hydrogel.

  Production of secondary metabolites from biomass of in vitro propagated Bursera graveolens (Palo santo).-Designed a genetic overexpression system of biosynthetic pathways from in vitro cultures of hairy roots and cells in suspension of Palo Santo.-Submitted proposal to a Peruvian public fund.-Expected results: Large-scale production of Palo Santo oil with 90 times more concentration of aromatic secondary metabolites.

  Implementation of a novel in vivo Continuous Directed Evolution (ICE) system to maximize the CO2 fixation in Chlamydomonas reinhardtii.-Corrected the mistakes of previous systems designed in the lab.-Designed the genetic parts, devices and systems of the proposed synthetic LTR OSSER retrotransposons in Benchling and Snapgene to drive in vivo Continuous Directed Evolution in a reporter protein.-Partially built and verified the designed parts and devices with the Modular Cloning toolkit for C. reinhardtii.   Improvement of the synthetic glycosylation efficacy of Human Target Proteins in Escherichia coli.-Designed and assembled dual plasmids for the heterologous expression of mammalian sialyltransferases and human proteins in E. coli.-Expressed, purified by His-Tag columns and characterized (SDS page, Lectin blot and Mass Spec) mucins peptides and Human Interferons.-Improved in vivo glycosylation of Human Interferons fused with mucins Type II peptides (two sites of glycosylation): first therapeutic glycoprotein system production by a bacterial system.
