      Former on the development of HEADS Project (Hydrocarbon Early Automatic Detection System) from REPSOL.Heads is a a tool that is the first of its kind in the world in being able to automatically detect oil leaks into the sea with a response time of under two minutes. The system combines continuous monitoring sensors, automatic interpretation and alarms that are triggered without the need for operator intervention, thus minimizing human error. HEADS can interpret any incident in the aquatic environment with a response time of under two minutes under any atmospheric conditions; day or night. Reliability and speed make this an extraordinary advancement, which has the added benefit of promoting Repsol's commitment to avoiding or minimizing the environmental impact of its operations.
