      Teaching assistant

As a teaching assistant at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, I had the opportunity to work closely with professors and students in the Electrical Engineering department. My primary responsibilities included assisting with classroom instruction, grading assignments and exams, and providing one-on-one support to students who needed extra help.In this role, I was able to apply my knowledge and skills in Electrical Engineering to help students understand complex concepts and develop problem-solving abilities. I enjoyed the challenge of working with students of different backgrounds and skill levels, and I found it rewarding to see their progress and success throughout the semester.Additionally, I worked closely with professors to develop and improve course materials, including lecture slides, assignments, and exams. I also helped to organize and facilitate review sessions and study groups to prepare students for exams and projects.Overall, my experience as a teaching assistant was incredibly rewarding, both personally and professionally. It allowed me to further develop my communication and leadership skills, while also giving me the opportunity to help others succeed in their academic pursuits. I am grateful for the experience and look forward to continuing to work with students and educators in the future. Show less

The Safety Test Checklist project involves the development of a comprehensive checklist for commissioning a new or upgraded Spray-dryer Control System. The goal of this checklist is to ensure that all necessary safety tests are completed before the system is put into operation, minimizing the risk of accidents or other safety incidents. To achieve this, I use a Digital Manufacturing Operation (DMO) to develop the checklist. This software will allow us to create a standardized checklist that can be used across all spray-dryer control systems, regardless of their specific configuration. The checklist will include a range of safety tests that need to be performed manually on a quarterly and annual basis. These tests will cover critical areas such as electrical safety, fire safety, and operational safety. The results of each test will be recorded on a logsheet, which will be stored in the system's OPC server for easy access and retrieval. The OPC server will also be used to generate reports on the results of the safety tests. These reports will provide a summary of the tests that have been completed, highlighting any areas where safety issues have been identified. This will allow the relevant personnel to take corrective action and address any safety concerns before they become a more significant problem.Overall, the Safety Test Checklist project is a crucial component of ensuring the safe and efficient operation of spray-dryer control systems. By utilizing the DMO software, logsheets, and OPC server, we can create a standardized and streamlined approach to safety testing, reducing the risk of accidents and improving the overall safety and reliability of these critical systems Show less

During my internship at the Lahore Electric Supply Company, I was tasked with studying the distribution systems of electricity. Specifically, I was responsible for analyzing the 11kV feeder LT Loss Study, which involved examining the power loss that occurs in the distribution system between the transformer and the customer. To complete this task, I first conducted a thorough review of the company's existing distribution system and the associated technical documentation. I then used this information to develop a comprehensive understanding of the distribution system's configuration, including its components, capacity, and performance.Using this understanding, I was able to identify areas of the distribution system that were experiencing higher than expected losses. I then performed a detailed analysis of these areas, using a range of tools and techniques to assess the causes of the losses and identify potential solutions.Based on my analysis, I was able to provide recommendations to the company on how to reduce power losses and improve the efficiency of the distribution system. These recommendations included optimizing transformer locations, upgrading outdated equipment, and implementing advanced monitoring and control systems.Overall, my work on the 11kV feeder LT Loss Study was a valuable learning experience that allowed me to apply my knowledge of electrical engineering in a real-world context. It also gave me the opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals and contribute to the improvement of a critical infrastructure system. Show less
