      Firefighter of The Year Mobile Fire Rescue/Mobile Optimist Club Mar 2017 I honorably and humbly received this award after my partner and I witnessed a man go into cardiac arrest while on duty at a gym. Because of our quick actions, the man was awake after five minutes of CPR and immediate defibrillation. We were able to visit the man and his wife a week later at their home. To my knowledge, he remains in good condition.
