  The Community Liaison Officer covers a multitude of disciplines related to the fire department and public relations. As the community liaison officer you support every division of the fire department with key information development/distribution to inform the community of relative resources available. As a valued member of the executive office, I actively support the organizations vision and objectives. I proficiently conduct emergency services, establish relationships with Faith-Based Organizations, Non-Governmental Organizations, and Community-Based Organizations. In emergencies, the Lieutenant serves as Incident Commander until arrival of a higher-ranking officer; and performs related duties as assigned.
