  As a Technical Lead & Senior software developer, I developed SOA applications that connect the customer to BT's business. The various applications that I have developed include handling Pre-Order Checks, Managing Customer Order, Creating Engineer Appointments for Service Fulfillment, Number Porting, providing DN's for new customers and Customer Fault handling. Many of these applications are high-volume critical applications and receive close to a million hits per day increasing up to 2 million hits in festive periods. The latency is very critical and hence these applications are tuned to the maximum extent to respond ASAP (ranging from a few milli-seconds to a couple of seconds at max depending on the customer request).I propose technical improvements to the SOA(OSB) application which have helped BT to achieve its SLA's in meeting the customer demand.   As a UI consultant, I implement UI Design taking into consideration the modularity and the responsiveness of the webpages. I have also implemented a Progressive Web App, which is a web-page with a mobile app look and feel and can be work offline. The web pages are designed in Materialize CSS which provide responsive web pages that can be viewed on both Mobile and desktop devices with beautiful layouts. I also work as a DevOps Practitioner and Consultant with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. The roles include implementing a DevOps solution for applications which maintain the Quality of the Cars manufactured by Fiat Chrysler. Show less I worked as the Development and Design Lead for Oracle Middleware and JAVA Applications in the ORBIS programme of Network Rail. The GIS applications provide the Route engineers with a clear understanding of where a particular asset is located within UK. the system also provides the Age of Road information (like Ballast, Sleeper, etc.,), the Speed levels and the ownership information for any particular track within the network. The System also helps in visualising and creating Future Tracks which help Network Rail in understanding how the network is going to be, 6 months down the line or so. The INM Project developed as part of the ORBIS programme was extensively successful and helped Network Rail transition in locating assets from a Mainframe command line to a GIS based solution. This saved a lot of man hours for Network Rail in locating the asset and the need for engineers to be on-field every day. Show less
