      "OBSCUR is a Swedish-born label based in Berlin exploring different areas of expression such as GARMENTS, VISUALS, SOUND and OBJECTS. The expression is often rooted in exploring classic shapes with strong detailing, and innovative materials. The atelier of Obscur is situated in an old DDR building in Berlin, Germany - with history of creating parachutes during the World War II. Being inspired by the immense atmosphere of the past, the products being developed in the atelier breathe a certain heaviness and power. The materials often used in OBSCUR products are vegetable tanned leather, organic natural woven fabrics as well as metal and concrete"It all started out as a hobby for me, as I contacted the head designer of Obscur, Richard Söderberg, to help him sell garments online (at that time I was still in high school) on my online fashion project, moushiyou (japanese word for "expression"), which I shared together with a friend.The whole idea behind moushiyou was to approach designers we liked and ask them for leftover stock/samples, together with garments we found online (on forums or eBay) with potential and sell them for a better price with professional looking photos on our blog. Anyway, my collaboration with Obscur went so well that I started working there full time.With time I became head of sales, head of production, daily customer service over email and store manager at our flagship store in Stockholm (1 year).Within sales it meant flying twice a year to Paris and showcase our collection during Men's Fashion Week. Together with our crew, I worked early in the morning to late night in the showroom managing buyers from all over the world and secure orders for the current collection.After Fashion Week I went straight to our productions to quality control our factories in Bulgaria (our biggest production - leather jackets, coats, pants etc), Estonia (jersey production), Japan (shoes) and Germany (after production treatments - such as stone washing).       I was assigned this role a few times per year to travel and be a part of launching new sites to our already well established brand.Being the first point of contact for all suppliers, deliveries, construction questions & pre opening planning. All according to our Site Launch Manual which I constantly update and share with my Project Manager.Once the final weekend has arrived - we always have a opening campaign for new members, where I'm in charge over 6-10 people from our team and place them on suitable stations during the day to make sure that everything runs smoothly.When the weekend is over and the site is officially open for training - I'm always there for a few extra days to make sure everything is working properly and the staff have all the information they might need.
