I grew the business from a single employee to 10 full time employees before selling the dealership to Medical Manager, Inc. during the dotcom explosion of the 1990’s. As an owner/employee, I demonstrated, sold, installed, trained and provided ongoing support for the Medical Manager application and its infrastructure. •Successful development and eventual sale of my individual company.•Installed over 100 UNIX servers and over 30 Windows NT servers.   Medical Manager was a computer technology firm in the Healthcare Industry and is currently owned by Sage Software. My responsibilities included managing daily operations of regional offices with 100+ employees in 6 multi-state locations. As DO, I implemented corporate projects, procedures, and mandates within the region. Additionally, I was solutions architect on sales proposals assisting the sales staff by specifying the hardware requirements.•Children’s Hospital of San Diego was one of the region’s largest implementations.   Current responsibilities include Design and Engineering of Dell Cloud Dedicated (DCD) infrastructure utilizing best practice conventions, often vendor based. Implement new technologies or protocols, such as software defined networking such as NSX, and cloud management tools such as VCAC, Cloud Stack, and Dell Cloud Manager. Much of my responsibilities require debugging and developing new processes around the implementation of the technologies described above. Additionally debugged escalated operational incidents, and resolved the incidents through fixes or workarounds. DCD supports a VMware hypervisor layer using ESX 5.5 update 2 currently for about 5000 virtual servers. • Global Server Storage Team lead with India and Romania teams. Assigned as the Senior Engineering Team Lead due to my understanding of the thousand feet view to the deep dive view, and how they are related and interact. • Dell Champion award winner 2014. Received in its first year, salutes those who consistently deliver strong results, obsesses with serving customers, recognized for their collaboration, and operates with the company’s best interest. • 2 Silver awards for outstanding project work, 2013 and 2014.• Architected and Implemented Fiber Channel solution utilized for new customer base in 2013, and was integral in acquiring a 384 million dollar 5 year deal since FC SAN was a requirement. • Senior Engineer Project Lead for Dell’s private cloud largest accounts. • Implemented VDP/VDPA and SRM solutions for internal and customer infrastructure.• Currently involved in providing DCD first integrated web portal using Dell Cloud Manager that provides cloud management across our private and hybrid clouds. • Currently POC VMware NSX since our team is trained and recently approved. • Solution new designs and builds for Storage, Server, and networking with other team members to provide to the solution architects for new deals.
