Managed a staff of five employees in the positions of Supply Technicians, Purchasing Agents, and a US Navy Corpsman. Designated the Systems Administrator (SA) for the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) IT application platform; primary point of contact for all functional issues and system support for more than 100 DMLSS users throughout the organization.- Contract program recognized as "Outstanding" due to zero discrepancies during the binary Triennial Medical Inspector General (MEDIG) and Joint Commission (JC) inspections.- Administered 20+ service contracts totaling over $1M; certified payment of 150+ invoices valued at $1.4M.- Developed training program and coordinated functional issues and system support for more than 100 users throughout the organization. Directed and controlled the Government Purchase Card Program (GPC) while serving as the Command Approving Official (AO). Oversaw the procurement activity of five government purchase card buyers holding contract warrants valued at $150K. Consolidated and tracked outstanding requisitions 30 days past due; promoted buyers collaboration with supply depots, logistics hubs, and prime vendors. - Approved/audited over 4,000 buyer transactions valued at $5.6M utilizing the CITIBANK database in concert with the DMLSS system.- Streamlined/optimized logistics support activities; alleviated the due-in metric by 50% within the first 60 days of activity.   Manages all aspects of contracts involving the procurement/maintenance of medical equipment. Administers the contracting/acquisition process from conception of the requirement to close-out of the contract. Solves generic to complex problems during the life-cycle of the contract. Interprets statute, regulations, and policies to analyze data and provide sound judgment to the analyses. Serves as an Agency liaison representative to all the contracting facilities. Analyzes, evaluates, and executes programs relevant to the contracting/logistics arena for all requirements of the Institute. Receives and processes Wide Area Work Flow-Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF-RA) to pay contracted vendor invoices in a timely manner ensuring the government will not be charged interest penalties and/or fees for late payments. Maintains the computerized property book, documents, and registers in accordance with the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) and manual property accounting procedures as prescribed in AR 710-2 to include the governing Department of Defense (DoD) and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
