  Source DMK is your sourcing and manufacturing team in Southeast Asia.We help furniture manufacturers and distributors, in the U.S., source parts, components and finished goods; and buy with confidence direct from the factory in Taiwan and Vietnam. We negotiate the best values, develop and perform quality control checks and help coordinate logistics. Responsibilities➤ Manage the flow of information and facilitate communication between buyer and overseas manufacturer – ensuring RFQs and questions are responded to, in a timely manner; product specifications and requirements are communicated and understood; and in regards to quality control, logistics and payment. ➤ Develop and maintain strong partnerships with overseas manufacturers through close and frequent communication, as well as regular visits. ➤ Monitor and track exchange rates and commodity pricing, as well as freight rates, transit times and current events, impacting imports.➤ Analyze and utilize the above, to support negotiations with overseas manufacturers and help buyers make informed and strategic purchasing decisions. ➤ Build and maintain buyer relationships – regularly interacting and visiting with key points of contact to understand needs and concerns; and identify opportunities for growth ➤ Lead discovery calls and prospective/new buyer presentations ➤ Network with internationally recognized testing laboratories, freight forwarders and other trade entities, in order to further provide resources and support to U.S. clients.
