      Defined advertising, promotional and media strategies to target key segments. Led key initiatives:Economic Development: ▪ Downtown Denver Prefers Visa National Advertising Campaign (first regional campaign). Awarded national campaign and leveraged $200K in sponsorships to create and fund $800K advertising campaign to promote downtown Denver to region. Generated $2M in Visa sales, representing 200+ merchants. ▪ Vail Ski Resorts Hotel Staff and Concierges Event (first-ever). Conceptualized and hosted event to promote downtown Denver to hotel staff and concierges to share attractions with their guests. Community Engagement: ▪ Holiday Windows. Conceptualized and produced holiday décor program (valued at $250K) featuring 35 whimsical and animated window boxes placed in downtown storefronts. Attracted 50K+ visitors annually. ▪ Buskerfest (3-day festival of 30 street performers from around the world). Produced festival of performers – fire eaters, acrobatists, Mr. Zip Code Man and the man who folded himself into a box. Attracted 30K visitors. Show less

Drove traffic to 300+ merchants located in the city center. ▪ Downtown LA Walks (first-ever podcast featuring Leonard Maltin, film critic and historian). Conceptualized and produced podcast which described the historic movie palaces along Broadway. Won Achievement Award from the International Downtown Association for originality.Large Events: ▪ Walt Disney Concert Hall Grand Opening. Achieved earned media value of $3M+ by assisting with international, national and regional public relations. The Hall, designed by Frank Gehry, is home to the Los Angeles Philharmonic. ▪ The Grand Avenue Festival. Conceptualized and produced festival, in conjunction with The Los Angeles Music Center to celebrate and showcase the arts and culture in the heart of downtown. Attended by 500K+ people and named best event by the Los Angeles Times. ▪ Outdoor Open Screening of An Inconvenient Truth, a documentary by Al Gore. Hosted event with a live set by Bon Jovi, followed by an introduction by Vice President Gore. The event was co-produced by the Los Angeles Film Festival. Sold out attendance. Produced video which was shown at the county courts for people serving on juries (250K+ annually), many of whom were downtown for the first time. County judges cited the video as a major factor in improving jury duty satisfaction. ▪ What To Do Downtown Informational Booklet. Produced and distributed booklet for the grand opening of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angeles, the mother church to 5M Catholics in the region. ▪ Informational and Coupon Booklet. Supported grand opening of the Gold Line, the new light rail line from downtown Los Angeles to Pasadena. Served as Program Executive for key initiatives:Economic Development: ▪ Downtown Cincinnati Gift Card Program (first-ever) with participation from 250 merchants. Generated $2M sales cumulatively using digital advertising and search engine optimization (SEO) to drive sales. ▪ Retail Action Plan with the City of Cincinnati’s Department of Economic Development to retain and recruit small businesses to the Central Business District. Hired Retail Specialist and assisted with the opening of the Holiday Pop Shops that featured 4 women-owned entrepreneurs, 1 of whom opened a full-time shop. ▪ Multi-layered Holiday Campaign (Macy’s Downtown Dazzle) that drew 500K+ visitors. Produced an online catalog of gift ideas that drew record-levels of foot traffic into downtown merchants. ▪ Mother’s Day Advertising Campaign (Thnaks Mom, Get Mother’s Day Right This Year) which resulted in all downtown restaurants being sold out on Mother’s Day. Recognized with Achievement Award from International Downtown Association for creativity and strong results. ▪ All Ohio Business Improvement District Conference (first-ever 2-day seminars about latest trends in downtown management). Organized and hosted representatives from Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Toledo and Akron. ▪ Enhanced Multi-cultural Marketing Program (multi-media campaign) to promote downtown Cincinnati to region. Raised $350K from corporate sponsors and grants. Increased attendance at retailers and museum between 15% to 27%. ▪ Cincinnati Bell Connector (new downtown streetcar system), assisted with grand opening by engaging downtown merchants with special offers to first-time streetcar riders. Attracted 100K+ riders during the grand opening weekend. Launched Lunch Program to increase ridership. Managed logistics for monthly meetings.▪ Perceptions of Downtown Survey (2,000+ survey participants annually). Presented key results to board members and media outlets. Hosted focus groups with minority participants to determine how to improve diversity and inclusion efforts. ▪ Downtown Mobile App (first-ever with 25,000 downloads) that provides accurate information about where to eat, shop and play downtown, as well as parking tips and an events calendar. ▪ NAACP National Conference – Assisted with media relations, hosted cocktail reception for media representatives to introduce them to key leaders.Social Assistance: ▪ GeneroCity 513 (outreach program to reduce panhandling). Teamed with Police Department and social services agencies to offer paid work, hot lunch and pep talk to 250+ panhandlers (20% stopped panhandling). ▪ Homeless Encampment Relocation. Successfully advocated at City Hall for assistance with moving encampment to available shelters. Coordinated with social service agencies, police, downtown residents, and stakeholders. Crisis Management: ▪ Crisis Public Relations Plan (Fountain Square active shooter incident). Successfully implemented plan by effectively maintaining communications with police, board members, stakeholders and downtown ambassadors during and after the crisis. Show less

      As the inaugural Executive Director for the Friends of Music Hall, a non-profit with a mission to preserve, promote, improve and provide education about Music Hall, I am responsible for board management, membership, marketing, fundraising and the tour program. I work with a dedicated board of directors, amazing volunteer tour guides and many supporters to build awareness and grow our fundraising.
