  Having first turned down an active recruitment by Bliss to serve as the General Manager of Bliss' flagship store and spa in SoHo, I agreed to serve in a temporary capacity as the Assistant General Manager and help Bliss develop formal operations and training procedures for its front end sales and reception staff and manage daily spa operations.   As part of the opening team for Jane Restaurant, I was responsible for preparing operational procedures for front-of-house staff, payroll, bookkeeping and ordering; training managers and servers, and managing day-to-day restaurant operations.Jane is a casual American bistro located between Greenwich Village and Soho. Since April 2001, neighborhood regulars and destination diners alike flock to Jane for its value-priced brunch, lunch and dinner menus. Jane also serves as an ideal location for private events, from business dinners to baby showers. The interior design is the result of skillful collaboration between the owners and accomplished commercial set designer, Stefan Beckman.
