      Toshka farm area is about 60,000 feddans, the largest farm in Egypt. It is mainly irrigated from Toshka canal through a pumping station with 7 pumps to supply about 7,000 cubic meters of water per hour. As for the date farm in Toshka, 40,000 acres were allocated for the cultivation of high-quality date with a total of 2.5 million palm trees with the aim of placing Egypt on the world map for the production and export of dates

      *LRT Phase III runs southward after the end point of Phase II, along the Regional Ring Road, crossing Sokhna-El Alamein Road and then transfers with the planned Ain Sokhna-El Alamein electrified railway (hereinafter referred to as HSR). The length of Phase III is about 17.77km, of which the elevated section is about 11.06 km (about 62.24% of the total length), and the subgrade section is about 6.71km (about 37.76% of the total length). The Light Rail Transit (LRT) project is 88.5 km long and has 16 stations, serving about a million passengers on a daily basis. Phase I covers 70 km in length and includes 12 stations.Phase II covers 18.5 km in length and incudes 4 stations.The project aims to serve the new cities along the track such as El Obour City, Al Shorouk, Mostakbal City, Badr City, 10th of Ramadan and the Administrative Capital. It saves fuel worth 1.7 billion EGP on an annual basis.
